Satsuki azaleas have beguiled bonsai enthusiasts in Japan, and around the world, for generations. Over this broad expanse of time, Japanese authors have dedicated numerous publications to the study of this wondrous plant.
However, the vast bulk of these writings have focused exclusively on the Japanese audience, with very few books on this topic written in English. Fewer still have provided sufficient depth and detail necessary for bonsai enthusiasts to become proficient with this flowering treasure. Our book, dedicated to satsuki azalea bonsai, written for the English-speaking audience, will remedy that shortcoming.
